HP-Compaq announced the prices of their Pavilion range of notebooks for the month of October. Prices have been increased recently due to inflation in the country. We hope that this will not continue very long and prices will come down once this financial crisis is over. Here is the list of models of HP-Paivion notebook and their prices.

Compaq Presario V6406TU is an Intel based laptop from the house of HP- Compaq. This machine is fitted with an Intel Celeron Processor (1.60 GHz), 512MB RAM, 80GB Hard Disk, Dual layer DVD RW, 15.4" Widescreen and so on. This machine comes pre-installed with Windows Vista Basic OS. While working with Vista on 512MB RAM, you may feel that the systems is responding very slow compared to XP. Drivers for Vista are given in the company's website. Installing Windows XP is not recommended as there is no guarantee that the drivers would work well with XP.
